for a few weeks now i have been extremely lucky to try out the infrared blow dryer from Jose Eber. and i am very pleased, to say the least!

if you would have shown me this outfit a couple years ago, i would have said “it needs more color!” but lately i have been very comfortable in my neutrals. although i did kind of feel like a scrooge wearing this on valentine’s day.

our valentine’s included a fun little scavenger hunt, signing papers for our house refinance, dinner at the cheesecake factory, cache cupcakes and downton abbey. are you guys watching that show, or are we actually not the last ones to that party??? we have only seen three episodes. we like it, but we aren’t hooked quite yet. if i take a three-week blogging break, you’ll know we got completely sucked in.

this is a very simple outfit, but i’ve gotten a lot of comments on it and questions about where it is from. these were both gifts and both came in a set of shirt/leggings. we like the carter’s clothes without writing on them, and one nice thing is that their color schemes are very similar so you can mix and match them sometimes, too!

so, unless you read my other blog, i have a lot to catch you up on. for starters, i got a new job about three months ago! i love it. i am working four days a week (32 hours) at my church as an editor/writer. i have weekends and wednesdays off. which is freaking awesome!!! i feel so lucky. AND there is a day care at the church, where Roo hangs out during my work hours. she has made some great new friends, including her best friend, Adah. it is quite adorable. i pop in and visit her at least once each day. can you think of anything greater??? i’m a very happy girl.
